Yes. The course is three weeks prior to the start of the semester. The total cost is 150 EUR.
ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL ADVISING OR REGISTRATION CONCERNS THAT STUDENTS SHOULD BE AWARE OF? ARE SERVICES AVAILABLE TO ASSIST IN REGISTRATION OR COURSE SELECTION?
Students will get their acceptance letter online: when admitted, they will get a message to register into the student management system, Alma Web, and will find the acceptance letter under "Study" -> "Documents".

They will get the information and contact about their subject coordinator before they arrive. They can then start to plan their course schedules directly with the relevant faculty. Registration for the courses will take place after the enrollment.
Students will get in contact with an academic student buddy - if wished - who can help as well.

DO STUDENTS APPLY FOR HOUSING WITH THEIR UNIVERSITY APPLICATION OR IS IT SEPARATE? IS THERE A DEADLINE?
Students apply for housing after getting the acceptance letter, they load the acceptance letter into the online application for the dorm. Only exchange students can apply for only one semester, but up to two semesters.
WHAT KINDS OF HEALTH FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE UNIVERSITY?
Exchange students will register as Leipzig citizens. As the University is part of the city, students can use the university clinics as well as other health facilities in the city concerning their needs.
