What We Do

Develop global partnerships, expand international opportunities for higher education, and collaborate to achieve shared goals

Partnerships

MAUI partners with the Utrecht Network, a European consortium, that allows students from member universities to participate in exchange programming for a semester or academic year.

Each student pays tuition to his or her home university and takes regular courses at the partner institution.

Members

Participating European partners are members of the Utrecht Network. Comprised of 31 European universities in 26 countries, the network engages in a wide range of student and faculty mobility programs.

Activities

MAUI actively promotes education abroad opportunities for students and international teaching, consulation, and research opportunities for faculty. Other activities include the sponsorship of a series of international conferences, distinguised scholars program, and scholarships. MAUI has been awarded numerous grants from the Fund for Improvement of Post-Secondary Education (FIPSE)
